BBQ Cleaning Brushes  from Char-Broil

Everybody knows it – once the grilling fun is over, it’s time to grab your brush and get cleaning. It may not be the most appealing task, but cleaning the grill after a good barbecue gathering is a job somebody has to do. The good news: with our BBQ cleaning tools and the right grill cleaners, you can clean your barbecue in no time at all. The general rule is that prevention is the best way to avoid unnecessary residue and time-consuming scrubbing. You should therefore always be sure to cover your grate with a thin layer of cooking oil before use. This will help to prevent tough residues and burnt-on food and grease. If you’ve taken these precautions but your barbecue still needs a good clean, you can find suitable cleaning tools for your Char-Broil grill here.

How do you use grill brushes to clean charcoal grills?

When it comes to cleaning your charcoal grill, a hands-on approach is needed. Dip a damp cloth in the cooled ashes and use it to clean the grill. The resulting pulp acts like sandpaper and easily grinds away the residues. A classic, and indeed effective, trick is to wrap the grate in damp newspaper. Place the wrapped grate on the floor and sprinkle some water on the newspaper every now and then. After a while, the residues will be even easier to remove. The ideal tool for this task is the cool-clean brush from Char-Broil.

How do you clean gas grills and electric grills?

Compared to charcoal grills, cleaning gas grills and electric grills is as easy as pie. There’s no charcoal and therefore also no soot that attaches to and blackens the grate. To clean these grills, all you need to do is fully turn up the heat once you have finished barbecuing. Once the last bits of food have been gobbled up, simply turn the knob to the highest setting. Leave the lid closed so that the grill can reach a temperature of 350°C, which will burn off even the most sticky and stubborn residues on the grate. Once the grate has stopped smoking, you can use the hot-clean brush from Char-Broil to easily clean the grate while it is still hot. Be sure to take a look at our other grilling accessories too.
