How do you clean the grease tray, why can you not simply pull it out to wash , my old barbecue was easier...have I built it wrong ?

You should be able to take out the grease tray. You simply just have to lift up the cup out of the wire holder.

Does the grill 2 coal bbq’s run on butane or propane?

Our grills works with Patio Gas. Patio gas can be either propane or butane and supplied in a patio gas bottle or patio gas cylinders. Our grill work well with either.

Will the gas2coal be ok to use a pizza stone on and will I be able to use the beer can chicken I’m thinking of buying the extras but want to make sure I’m choosing the right bbq as I’d like to do other things such as rotisserie chicken, pizzas etc

What type of gas do I need with the gas to coal bbq?

All our grills (except X200 und Patio Bistro) are supplied with a clip-on regulator, that only works with Patio Gas. Patio Gas is more commonly used for outdoor purposes and more specifically for barbecues and patio heaters. These bottles are compatible with a 27mm clip-on regulator. Patio gas can be either propane or butane and supplied in a patio gas bottle or patio gas cylinders. Both work equally as well, although propane is preferred in cold weather.

Seen Models 140723 and 140923 advertised...appear same bbq. I assume later Model is more modern? can you advise if upgraded in any way and when 140723 ceased manufacture. Thanks Stewart

yes you are correct, 140925 is our new version of our Gas2Coal grills. The difference between them is that the new version has a bottle opener and grate cleaning tool coming with it. It also has a drawer which you can open and have some storage room behind. The layout changed also with it's black color.

You can see the warranty on our homepage when you scroll down on the product page. We give generally 2 years warranty for this product. The burners have a 5 year warranty.

What is the difference to model 140723?

In addition to the features that the older Gas2Coal version has, namely:
- Durable, rust-resistant cast iron grates
- Stainless steel burners
- Stainless steel burner protection shield
- Side burner
- Stainless steel patented charcoal tray
- 5 year warranty on stainless steel burners. 2 years on all other parts.
The new version "Gas2Coal 2.0" comes with additional accessories, such as a grill lifter, and has an integrated bottle opener. Also, in the new version, you have easy access to the gas bottle, to open or close it thanks to the valve. This version can be completed with storage elements from our MADE2MATCH system. Finally, on the optical side, the name of the barbecue is clearly written in black.
