With our core temperature sensors, you will become a true master of the barbecue. You can connect up to four sensors to the EVOLVE, allowing you to keep an eye on the core temperature of your barbecued food at all times. Two core temperature sensors are supplied. Simply read the temperatures from the display or on your smartphone!

Full control with SMART PRECISION
With the rotary controller, the temperature of the EVOLVE® can be set precisely between 90 °C and 370 °C. Very easy to control via the digital display. Your barbecue results will always be perfect.

The core element of the patented TRU-Infrared™ Technology is the unique emitter plate. It distributes the heat evenly across the entire grate, ensuring that your barbecued food is up to 50% juicier. Excellent electric BBQ with large cooking area
Seems to be an online vendetta against Char Broil with a lot of very negative reviews here and on Facebook. I'm very happy with my evolve. You'll need to actually clean the grates and plates, take care to cover the BBQ in summer and store in a non humid place over winter, and you might find a small temperature variation across the cooking surface due to the pattern of the heating element. But within those "limitations" mainly due to the laws of physics, I think the evolve electric is a great product for people that don't want to cook outside but don't like gas or charcoal. It's not just "an oven outside" which I see written disparagingly across the internet. I especially enjoy the large cooking area which is the largest I could find with an electric BBQ, and the traditional BBQ cooking style which is a lot better than other electric BBQ grill plates I've tried.

Disappointing
Unfortunately this electric BBQ has been a completely let down compared to other models I have owned. My grill does no not heat to the temperature set on the dial. My own thermometer gives inconsistent readings across the entire surface of the grill. I was hoping an electric grill would eliminate hot and cold spots. I have raised this with Char Broil and provided the evidence but they are denying there is any problem and ignoring the issues. Ultimately the grill does not cook food as properly or thoroughly as you would expect. I have had to take this up with my payment provider.

Very poor product
I brought this BBQ in March, set up a few weeks later….didn’t work…..came up with an error code. Still waiting now for a refund.
Really poor customer service…..offered me a 15% discount and to keep the broken bbq….
I would strongly recommend that you do not buy this particular brand of BBQ.
