Quite easy to assemble.
Can't really knock this grill. It took 2 people about 1 hour 15 minutes to put together. Quite easy to clean and the cast iron grates leave great grill marks. Gets upto temperature well.

Avoid - buy something else.
I purchased this BBQ at a retailer in Nicaragua. It is absolutely worthless. The manufacturer has not responded to my questions 'is there a problem with my grill, is something broken?' sort of thing on social media (seems like the only way to contact anyone).
Everything about this BBQ screams 'cost cutting'. I'd imagine the design engineers created a decent BBQ and submitted the design to the accountants, who replied 'you're all fired, this design is great and works perfectly, and we can't have that nonsense around here!'.
The firebox is of the cheapest, thinnest metal, the grill surface is the thinnest, cheapest I have ever seen. The stainless is junk. I forsee the entire thing rusting into the earth in a few years. The system of gas delivery to the 4 burners is an absolute joke, causing huge flares of flame at the front of the BBQ as the flame comes up around the metal of the little rails they use to get the gas to the burners, instead of using a good, working method. DO NOT buy this BBQ, it is a useless piece of garbage. Unless I have all 4 burners on high I can't seem to cook anything, and then the front half of the grill is useless because of the flames leaking around. Wastes so much gas! Avoid! Pay more for something else.

I bought a convective 440s and now will buy 5kg patio gas. The height is 390mm but I saw your answer that the max height should be 370mm. Can you send me a link, if there is any brand providing max 370mm? Secondly do I need to order propone regulator too?
Hello Atakan,
Please approach a gas store near you. You can use a Patio Gas, these bottles are compatible with a 27mm clip-on regulator. Patio gas can be either propane or butane and supplied in a patio gas bottle or patio gas cylinders. Both works equally as well, although propane is preferred in cold weather”.

Good evening, What is your recommended gas bottle size and can I place the gas bottle in the cupboard space?
Hello Jimbob,
Cylinder of 6 kg or less may be placed on the ground under the side shelf or inside the appliance in place provided. Larger cylinders are to be placed under side shelf or behind the barbecue only. Cylinders placed in the appliance shall have a maximum diameter of 345mm and maximum height of 370mm. Cylinders placed on the ground shall not be placed under the hot plate.
Best regards,
Your Char-Broil Team
