More Than Just Grilling: Four Ways to Cook with Versa-Tile®

The Versa-Tile® with its patented 3-in-1 Tile Cooking System transforms your grill into a griddle, grill, and pizza oven all in one. The included components – cast iron grill grate, griddle tile, and stainless steel pizza attachment – unlock four distinct cooking modes. The possibilities are endless!

Here’s how to use the easily interchangeable cooking tiles:

1. Griddle Mode with the Griddle Tile

Insert the griddle tile smooth side up into the tile slot. With 3,500 cm² of cooking space and two independently adjustable burners, you can cook multiple dishes at once.

Use the large griddle surface to make smashed burgers, eggs, pancakes, tacos, or grilled cheese. Pots and pans can also be placed directly on the griddle tile.


2. Grill Mode with Cast Iron Grill Grate

Insert the enameled cast iron grill grate into the tile slot. Ideal for perfectly seared meat and vegetables with bold grill marks and smoky flavours.


3. Pizza Oven Mode with the Pizza Attachment and Reversed Griddle Tile

Craving a pizza like in Italy? With its domed pizza lid and stainless steel attachment, the Versa-Tile turns into a real pizza oven in minutes.

How to bake the perfect pizza on the Versa-Tile gas grill:

Insert the stainless steel pizza attachment into the tile slot with the three long brackets facing up.

Rotate the attachment slightly left until the short brackets slot into place.

Flip the griddle tile so the indented pizza side faces up and place it on top of the pizza attachment – perfect for a crispy crust.

Turn the right burner to “Pizza” setting. The left burner should be set to high.

Close the lid – the aluminium-coated pizza dome ensures even baking and perfectly melted cheese.

Preheat the Versa-Tile with the pizza plate for 5–10 minutes.

Dust a pizza peel with flour, open the lid and and slide the pizza onto the floured pizza plate.

Close the lid, turn off the left burner, and bake the pizza for approx. 5 minutes.

Optional: Want the cheese even meltier? Slide the pizza to the left side of the griddle and close the lid for another 2 minutes. You can already start baking the next pizza at the same time!

4. Wok Mode

Fancy stir-fry or grilled Asian dishes? You can also use the Versa-Tile with a wok – here’s how:

1. Remove the griddle tile and lift out the round heat shield above the burner.

2. Flip the stainless steel pizza attachment so the three long brackets face down and insert it into the tile slot.
3. Place a wok (sold separately) in the centre of the attachment. Note: suitable for woks with a diameter of 12 inches (approx. 30.5 cm – 34–36 cm).
